Operating the Wartmann WM-2512 DH Dehydrator
Controlling the Wartmann WM-2512 DH dehydrator is remarkably simple, managed through its clear, user-friendly touch control panel located above the main door. From this interface, you can initiate the drying cycle, precisely adjust temperature and duration, and switch on the internal illumination.
Powering on and loading the unit
Before you can load the Wartmann dehydrator or configure its temperature and drying time, you must first engage the main power switch found on the rear of the appliance. The unit will confirm it's ready for operation with a brief audible signal and a flashing ON/OFF indicator on its display.
You can then open the door and carefully place your food items onto the trays. Always ensure the trays are not overfilled, which could potentially obstruct the internal fan. Afterward, securely close the door and commence operation by tapping the start/stop icon.
A second short beep will sound, indicating that the fan and heating elements have begun functioning. Only at this point are you able to specify your desired drying temperature and the total drying period.
Setting the temperature
To adjust the temperature, simply tap the thermostat icon on the control panel. By using the plus or minus buttons, you can incrementally set the precise temperature between 25°C and 90°C.
Setting the drying duration
To configure the drying time, tap the timer icon on the control panel. You can then adjust the drying period in 30-minute increments, up to a maximum of 72 hours, using the plus or minus symbols.
Pausing operation
The dehydration process can be paused at any time by tapping the ON/OFF symbol. The display will then go dark, and the ON/OFF symbol will begin to flash. The appliance will subsequently power down completely after approximately 60 seconds.
Retrieving dried food
Once the predetermined drying time has elapsed, the dehydration cycle automatically concludes. You can then remove the dried food. Given that the trays may still be quite hot, it is strongly advised to use oven mitts for protection.

Cleaning the Wartmann WM-2512 DH dehydrator
We highly advise cleaning the stainless steel trays, the crumb collector, and the interior of your Wartmann dehydrator promptly after each use. This practice effectively thwarts any undesirable bacterial proliferation stemming from leftover food particles.
To begin the cleaning process, simply ensure the dehydrator is fully powered down by activating the main switch located on its rear panel. The stainless steel trays and the crumb collector are best washed in a sink using warm water, a touch of dish soap if needed, and a cleaning brush. The appliance's internal and external surfaces can be wiped down with a damp cloth, and for tougher spots, a mild cleaner, stainless steel polish, or oven cleaner may be applied as required.
