What is the quality of the juice?

Full-bodied, velvety-soft and clear juices

The juice quality from the Angel Juicer 5500 impresses with its uniquely full-bodied taste. The Angel Juicer 5500 not only extracts the maximum amount of liquid and nutrients from the juice ingredients, but also the maximum amount of taste. The juices are incredibly smooth and velvety, have a clear consistency and are virtually foam-free. Clear vegetable and/or fruit juices

Another strength of the Angel Juicer 5500 is the juicing of hard ingredients such as roots or firm apples. You can use it to make beetroot juice or carrot juice. Of course, soft ingredients such as ripe pears, pineapple, a piece of lemon or orange can also be juiced in the Angel Juicer 5500. We recommend always juicing soft ingredients alternately with hard ingredients so that there is no backlog of liquid.

Fruit juices made from soft ingredients

If you would like to make pure pineapple juice or a mixed juice from soft, overripe fruit, you will need the wooden tamper with silicone ring. This ensures that no liquid backs up when juicing soft ingredients.

Thicker juices with the coarse sieve

Even though the Angel Juicer 5500 stands for clear juices, it can also be used to produce thicker juices with a smoothie-like consistency. However, this is only possible with the coarse sieve, which is not included in the standard scope of delivery. Soft ingredients or overripe bananas and pears, for example, are particularly suitable for thick juices.

The Angel Juicer 5500 can not only be used to produce cold-pressed juices. With the following sieve inserts, which are not included in the scope of delivery, other preparations are possible:

Operation & handling of the Angel Juicer 5500

The Angel Juicer 5500 is easy to assemble. In total, only 4 parts - press rollers, sieve housing incl. feed chute and sieve cover - need to be assembled. The feed chute has an average diameter of 4.3 cm - the ingredients must therefore be cut to a small or suitable size.

There is a power switch on the back of the Angel Juicer 5500, which is used to switch the appliance to stand-by mode. The control panel with the 3 functions Start, Stop and Reverse is located on the right-hand side. Simply press the start function to start juicing. Now place the juice ingredients in the feed chute and press the pusher towards the press rollers. The ingredients are now crushed, mixed and squeezed in a 3-stage process. The juice exits directly into the juice jug below the sieve housing, while the pomace is ejected into the pomace collection container at the front.
The juicing process is complete when all the ingredients have been squeezed out in the form of pomace and no more juice is dripping out of the juice outlet. Now switch the control panel to Stop and switch off the power switch.

Tip: It is best to leave the Angel Juicer 5500 running for a little longer, as a few drops of juice will continue to flow out, even if no more pomace comes out.

When the Angel Juicer 5500 is blocked

It can happen that the safety sensor of the Angel Juicer 5500 interrupts the juicing process because the press rollers are blocked. This could happen if a hard foreign object (cutlery or similar) accidentally lands in the juicer. The slow juicer then stops automatically and emits a signal tone. The blockage is then simply released by pressing the reverse function. The twin press rollers now rotate backwards. The blockage is released. The juicing process must now be restarted by pressing the start button.

Cleaning the Angel Juicer 5500

The Angel Juicer 5500 is best cleaned immediately after use. This prevents the juice residue from drying and allows you to rinse the individual parts directly under lukewarm water. To do this, disassemble the Angel Juicer. Before you clean the sieve, feed chute, press rollers and sieve cover under running water, the first step is to roughly remove the pomace residue directly into the organic waste garbage can. This prevents the drain in the sink from clogging. To clean the sieve, use the scraper to better remove any fiber residues from fruit, vegetables and leafy greens. Then clean all parts with the cleaning brush supplied. For the feed chute, we recommend using our practical cleaning brush, which allows you to get through the openings perfectly and remove all residues quickly and easily. Finally, dry the juicer parts with a kitchen towel and reassemble the Angel Juicer. Rinse and dry the juice jug and pulp container thoroughly.

As the stainless steel parts of the Angel Juicer 5500 are dishwasher-safe, you can also clean them in the dishwasher. We recommend cleaning in the dishwasher as an occasional basic clean. However, you should first rinse all components by hand and remove any coarse pomace residue.

Recommended accessories for the Angel Juicer 5500

Angel Juicer coarse sieve for juices made from soft ingredients

The Angel Juicer 5500 is always supplied with a fine sieve, which is perfectly adequate for most applications. However, if you also drink pure juices made from soft ingredients, i. e. without adding hard ingredients such as carrots, celery or beet, you will also need the coarse sieve, otherwise there will be too much back pressure during juicing. The rule of thumb for what is soft and what is hard is: anything that you can easily crush in your hand is considered a soft ingredient: this includes pineapple, bananas, mango, tomatoes, kiwis, etc. Hard ingredients include carrots, beet, leafy greens, celery, etc.

Angel Juicer wooden tamper with silicone ring

For us, the Angel Juicer must-have: the Angel Juicer wooden tamper with silicone ring. You can use it to make clear juices from soft ingredients and overripe fruit. Thanks to the silicone ring on the wooden tamper, the ingredients are moved to the press rollers with air pressure, which prevents a backlog of pressed material or liquid overflowing from the feed chute. But be careful: do not press too hard, otherwise the juice will drip out of the appliance.
