What is the quality of the juice?
All three Angel Juicer models - 5500, 7500 and 8500S - deliver identical results in terms of juice yield and juice quality. The following descriptions therefore apply equally to the Angel Juicer 8500S.
Full-bodied, clear and velvety smooth
The Angel Juicer 8500S delivers cold-pressed juices at the highest level: the twin-gear pressing process not only extracts maximum liquid and nutrients from the ingredients, but also preserves their full flavor. The result is clear, velvety-soft juices that inspire us.
Green juices: the ultimate discipline
The Angel Juicer really comes into its own when making green juices. Fibrous leafy greens such as kale or parsley, grasses or wild herbs are effortlessly drawn in and squeezed to the last drop. The counter-rotating press rollers made of SUS 316 stainless steel work so effectively that significantly fewer ingredients are needed for the same amount of juice than with comparable slow juicers - saving money in the long run.
Vegetable and fruit juices
The Angel Juicer 8500S effortlessly processes hard ingredients such as carrots, beet or firm apples. We therefore like to use it to make beet beetroot juice or carrot juice. Softer ingredients such as very ripe pears, pineapple, lemon or orange are best juiced alternately with hard ingredients. This reliably prevents a backlog.
Juicing soft and overripe fruit
If you want to prepare pure pineapple juice or mixed juices from soft, overripe fruit, it is best to use the wooden tamper with silicone ring. The silicone ring builds up a slight air pressure, which guides the ingredients to the press rollers in a controlled manner and prevents overflowing in the feed chute.
Smoothie-like juices thanks to the coarse sieve
The Angel Juicer 8500S is primarily designed for clear juices - but with the separately available coarse sieve, thicker juices with a smoothie consistency can also be produced. Soft ingredients and overripe fruit such as bananas, pears and mealy apples are particularly suitable for this.
Ginger and turmeric shots
The Angel Juicer 8500S squeezes ginger and turmeric tubers completely and delivers a clear, residue-free juice. No wonder Angel Juicers are also used in professional juice bars for the preparation of ginger shots and turmeric shots.
Fresh sauerkraut juice

How suitable is the Angel Juicer 8500S for making celery juice?
In our celery celery juice juicer (8/2019), the Angel Juicer emerged as the undisputed test winner: 500 g of celery yielded an average of 402 ml of juice - no other juicer in the test field achieved a comparable yield. As the Angel Juicer 8500S uses the same juicing system as the 5500 and 7500 models, these results naturally also apply to the top model. In addition to the outstanding juice yield, the celery juice impresses with its fiber-free consistency and a uniquely smooth, full-bodied taste.
Anyone who regularly presses large quantities of fresh celery juice will benefit in the long term from investing in an Angel Juicer: we know of no other slow juicer that produces 100 ml of celery juice so cost-effectively!
What other preparation options are there?
In addition to juicing, the Angel Juicer 8500S can also be used for other preparation options. This requires the following sieve inserts, which are available separately:

- Puree sieve: Perfect for baby porridge, fruit sorbets, hummus, salsas or sauces
Operation & handling of the Angel Juicer 8500S
The Angel Juicer 8500S is quickly ready for use: Only 4 parts - press rollers, sieve housing incl. feed chute and sieve cover - need to be assembled. The feed chute measures 4.3 cm in diameter, so the ingredients should be cut to size accordingly.
The power switch on the back puts the Angel Juicer 8500S into stand-by mode. The control panel with the three functions Start, Stop and Reverse is located on the right-hand side of the appliance. Operation is very simple: press the start button, pour the ingredients into the feed chute and guide them to the press rollers with the plunger. The ingredients are crushed, mixed and pressed out in a 3-stage process. The juice flows into the juice jug below the sieve housing and the pomace is simultaneously ejected into the collecting container at the front.
The juicing process is complete when no more pomace flows out and the juice outlet stops dripping - press the stop button and switch off the power switch.
Tip: Leave the Angel Juicer 8500S running for a short time after the last pomace has been ejected - some juice often drips out.
If the Angel Juicer 8500S blocks
In rare cases, the safety sensor can stop the juicing process - for example, if a foreign object such as a piece of cutlery accidentally gets into the feed chute. The Angel Juicer 8500S then stops automatically and signals the blockage with a beep. As with the Angel Juicer 7500, the 8500S also has an automatic reverse function: the press rollers rotate backwards automatically and remove the blockage - there is no need to trigger the reverse function manually as with the Angel Juicer 5500. Then simply press the start button and continue juicing.

Cleaning the Angel Juicer 8500S
It is best to clean the Angel Juicer 8500S immediately after juicing - this makes it easy to remove juice residue before it dries. To do this, take the appliance apart and place the coarse pomace residue from the sieve, feed chute, press rollers and sieve cover directly into the organic waste garbage can so that the drain does not become blocked. Then remove the remaining fiber residue from the sieve with the stainless steel scraper provided and clean all parts under lukewarm water with the cleaning brush supplied. Particularly practical for the feed chute: our cleaning brush, which glides perfectly through the openings and reliably removes all residues. Finally, dry all components with a kitchen towel, reassemble the Angel Juicer 8500S and carefully rinse out the juice jug and pulp container.
Good to know: All stainless steel parts of the Angel Juicer 8500S - including the SUS-316 components - are dishwasher-safe. The dishwasher can be used for occasional basic cleaning, although coarse pomace residue should always be removed by hand beforehand.

Angel Juicer coarse sieve for juices from soft ingredients
The Angel Juicer 8500S comes with a fine sieve, which is completely sufficient for most applications. However, for pure juices made from soft ingredients - i. e. without the addition of hard ingredients such as carrots, celery or beet - the coarse sieve is also required, as otherwise there will be too much residue during juicing. As a guide: Anything that can be easily mashed in the hand is a soft ingredient - this includes pineapple, banana, mango, tomato or kiwi, for example. Hard ingredients are carrots, beet, celery or leafy greens.
Angel Juicer wooden tamper with silicone ring
Our clear recommendation for every Angel Juicer: the wooden tamper with silicone ring. It allows you to make clear juices even from soft and overripe ingredients without any problems. The silicone ring ensures even air pressure, which guides the ingredients to the press rollers in a controlled manner - reliably preventing backlogs and overflowing in the feed chute. The following applies: Only push with light pressure so that no juice escapes from the side of the appliance.
