"The E50-ST is the most compact Hurom vertical juicer with a classic fine strainer. The juice quality corresponds to the larger models H70-ST and H320-N and is amazing. Accordingly, the E50-ST is my absolute favourite among the more compact juicers and a clear recommendation to buy."

About the manufacturer Hurom
The South Korean company Hurom has been active in the juicer industry for over 50 years and has established itself as one of the most important players. Especially in Europe, Hurom enjoys an excellent reputation for its vertical juicers. The high quality of Hurom appliances has also led to renowned brands such as Omega, Sana and Nama having their juicers manufactured by Hurom in South Korea.
What is the quality of the juice?
The Hurom E50-ST is ideal for producing all popular juices such as celery juice, vegetable juices such as beetroot juice and carrot juice or the popular ginger shots. The juices are consistently clear and virtually free of fiber and have impressed us with their intense and full-bodied taste.
The Hurom E50-ST shows its strengths particularly when juicing soft, juicy fruits and vegetables such as mealy apples, pineapples or oranges. Thanks to its vertical design, it also processes these ingredients without back pressure and produces pure apple or orange juice without stress.
Gentle juicing at 43 to 50 revolutions per minute ensures that as many nutrients and aromas as possible are retained in the juice, as the juices are not exposed to heat or oxygen. The juice yield of the Hurom E50-ST is average - compared to other vertical juicers, it is significantly more efficient.
How suitable is the Hurom E50-ST for making celery juice?
With the Hurom E50-ST, you can produce freshly squeezed celery juice very easily. Simply cut the celery stalks into pieces about 2-3 cm long and fill the mega hopper with a total volume of 1.6 liters. The Hurom E50-ST juices the stalks almost automatically and delivers an almost particle-free result. Only a fine, creamy residue remains, which is not perceived as disturbing due to its fineness.
In our celery juice juicer comparison, the Hurom E50-ST produced an average of 380 ml of juice from 500 g of celery stalks, placing it in the middle range of all the slow juicers we tested. For comparison, the winner Angel Juicer extracted an average of 430 ml of celery juice - that's 50 ml more than the E50-ST. However, we also noted that the Hurom E50-ST had the best juice yield among vertical juicers when it came to making celery juice.
What other preparation options are there?
Nut milk production with the juice strainer
The Hurom E50-ST is also suitable for preparing nut milk. It is essential that you soak the nuts in water overnight before processing. After soaking, you should pour off the water and mix the nuts with fresh water in a ratio of around 1:3. Before you put the mixture of nuts and water into the juicer, make sure that the juice flap is closed. Then switch on the Hurom E50-ST and gradually add the nut and water mixture using a ladle. As soon as the pressing chamber is filled with milk, open the juice flap and remove the milk. For a particularly fine result, you can sieve the nut milk through a nut milk bag at the end to remove any residue.
Operation & handling of the Hurom E50-ST
Assembling the Hurom E50-ST is child's play. Start by assembling the parts in the pressing chamber, including the sieve insert, the scraper and the pressing screw. Then connect the filling chamber to the pressing chamber by turning it clockwise. Once the juice housing is assembled, simply position it on the motor block, making sure that the outlets for juice and pomace are correctly aligned.
Preparing and chopping ingredients
Make ideal use of the capacity of the large feed opening and the self-feeding function by cutting all ingredients - whether fruit, vegetables or long-fibered juice - into pieces of approx. 2-3 cm in size or cutting larger pieces of fruit such as apples, pears and citrus fruits into quarters or eighths.
Once you have closed the lid, press the main switch on the motor block to 'ON' to start the juicing process. The Hurom E50-ST will now start juicing automatically. Your juice will be ready within 2-3 minutes and you can open the juice outlet flap to remove your fresh juice.
If you want to add more ingredients during the juicing process, you can either pour them in through the opening in the lid or lift the lid, although this briefly pauses the juicing process. Once the lid is closed again, the Hurom E50-ST continues juicing automatically.
Using the Coarse Strainer for Thicker Juices
Included with the Hurom E50-ST is a coarse strainer in addition to the fine strainer. This allows you to produce thicker juices that contain significantly more pulp than juices made with the fine strainer.
Preparation tip: If you like to enjoy fresh juice in the morning but don't have much time, you can prepare the ingredients the evening before. Chop them up and fill them into the filling chamber, then put them in the fridge overnight. The next morning, the Hurom E50-ST can start juicing while you get ready for the day!
Using the reverse function
The Hurom E50-ST is equipped with a reverse function, which is used when the juicing process is hindered by too large pieces or too many ingredients. This function is activated by setting the main switch to the "REV" position and pressing it down. As soon as the switch is released, reverse operation stops.
Cleaning the Hurom E50-ST
We recommend cleaning the Hurom E50-ST immediately after use. To prevent juice residue from dripping onto your work surface or the floor, you should close the juice flap before separating the juice housing from the motor. Place it in the sink afterwards.
Then detach the feeding chamber from the press chamber, remove the individual components of the slow juicer, and wash them under running water. The included brush helps you clean the strainer and the strainer scraper. For a complete cleaning of the pulp outlet, open the outlet to remove the pulp and rinse with water. Afterward, let the parts air dry or pat them dry with a kitchen towel. Finally, reassemble the parts and place the juice housing back onto the motor block. Your device is now ready for use again!
Note: Make sure that no pomace residue blocks the drain. It is best to use a sieve in the sink.

Hurom E50-ST vs. Hurom E30-ST
Here is the translation in English:Hurom E50-ST vs. Hurom E30-ST
Do you want to know whether the Hurom E50-ST or the smaller E30-ST juicer better suits your needs? Both belong to Hurom's E-Series and offer self-feeding convenience as well as excellent juice results. We will show you how the models differ.
What Both Models Have in Common
The self-feeding function makes juicing particularly convenient with both devices: fill in the ingredients, close the lid, and you're done – the juicer works independently. Both come with fine and coarse sieves, allowing you to make clearer or pulpier juices according to your preference.
The vertical design makes both devices ideal for soft, water-rich fruits and vegetables. Hurom offers a 10-year warranty on the motor and components – a quality promise that speaks for longevity. There are no compromises in juice quality: both models deliver clear, nutrient-rich, and flavorful results.
The Differences in Detail
1. Size and Compactness
The E50-ST requires a bit more space than the smaller E30-ST juicer but remains compact compared to larger models like the H320N. You gain capacity without the device taking up too much counter space.
The smaller E30-ST juicer is the most compact model in the Hurom Pure Press Line. Perfect if you have limited counter space or want to optimize a small kitchen. Cleaning is also straightforward thanks to the handy dimensions – even small sinks are sufficient.
2. Volume of the Feeding Chamber and Juice Quantity
Here lies the most practical difference:
Hurom E50-ST:
- Feeding chamber: 1,600 ml
- Juice quantity per session: about 550-600 ml
- Ideal for families or larger needs
- Saves time for larger quantities
Hurom E30-ST (smaller juicer):
- Feeding chamber: 800 ml (half the capacity)
- Juice quantity per session: about 250-300 ml
- Optimal for single servings
- Fresh juice ready in 1-2 minutes
3. Juice Yield Comparison
We tested both devices with celery juice. The test shows: the E50-ST is more efficient. In our celery juice juicer test, the following values were obtained:
- E50-ST: 380 ml from 500 g of celery
- E30-ST: 335 ml from 500 g of celery
The E50-ST not only juices more per session but also extracts more liquid from the same ingredients thanks to optimized technology.
4. Lid and Pusher
The E50-ST comes with a pusher that you can theoretically use to push down ingredients. Practically, we hardly need it: if ingredients get stuck, we briefly open and rearrange them – that's usually enough.
The smaller E30-ST juicer does not come with a pusher – the lid closes without an opening. You fill everything in, close the container, and start. Fewer parts mean easier handling and quicker cleaning.
Our Conclusion
Both devices impress with excellent juice quality and clear results. Your decision should depend on your typical juice consumption and available space. The E50-ST scores with larger capacity and better juice yield – ideal if you regularly juice for multiple people. The smaller E30-ST juicer is perfect for singles and smaller kitchens.

Hurom E50-ST vs. Hurom H70-ST
Both the Hurom E50-ST and the Hurom H70-ST are modern self-feeding juicers that are distinguished by their particularly comfortable operation. Both devices feature a generous feed chute. This allows for processing larger quantities of fruits and vegetables in just one juicing cycle, which makes juice preparation easier and faster.
Although they share many similarities, there are some crucial differences that should be taken into account when choosing the right device.
The Differences in Detail
Juice Yield Comparison
We found a significant difference between the two models regarding their juice yield. The Hurom E50-ST proves to be more efficient in this regard. In our celery juice juicer comparison, the Hurom E50-ST achieved an average juice yield of 380 ml from 500 g of celery. In the same test, the Hurom H70-ST only reached about 355 ml. This difference in juice yield is also evident when processing other fruits and vegetables. This means that the Hurom E50-ST tends to extract more juice from the same amount of ingredients.
1. Feeding Chamber Capacity
The Hurom E50-ST has a feeding chamber with a capacity of 1.6 liters. When the chamber is completely filled with ingredients, a single juicing session can produce about 400 to 450 ml of juice. Since the feeding chamber of the H70-ST is slightly larger with a volume of 1.8 liters, the juicer can produce even more juice in one go—about 450-500 ml.
2. Different Equipment
Another difference lies in the standard equipment. The Hurom E50-ST comes with two juice sieves—a fine sieve for clear juices and a coarse sieve for juices with a bit more pulp. The Hurom H70-ST, on the other hand, is only equipped with a fine sieve as standard. However, the H70-ST also offers an ice and cream attachment. With this accessory, the Hurom H70-ST can also be used to make refreshing fruit sorbets, nut butter, or creamy purees from cooked fruits.
3. Warranty
There are also differences in terms of warranty. The Hurom E50-ST comes with a 10-year warranty, while the Hurom H70-ST is equipped with a longer warranty period of 15 years.
4. Price Difference
The different warranty periods are reflected in the pricing. The Hurom E50-ST is generally available at a more affordable price, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious buyers.
Our Conclusion:
Both self-feeding juicers offer convenient handling and produce high-quality juices. However, if maximum juice yield and the ability to make juices with varying pulp content are priorities, the Hurom E50-ST is the better choice. For users who also want to make sorbets and purees and value a longer warranty period, the Hurom H70-ST, despite its slightly lower juice yield and higher price, can be an interesting option.

-
Great for celery juice.I’m completely satisfied with the Hurom E50-ST. I was looking for a juicer for celery juice and decided on this one: everything works great, the juice tastes amazing, it’s easy to clean, and it even looks stylish!

Super deviceI looked at several juicers in this price range (and higher) from well-known manufacturers, and this is the one I chose. I particularly liked that it feels somehow more user-friendly than the other machines and doesn't look as bulky visually. We juice for two people, and the capacity is absolutely sufficient. So far, we are really happy with our decision. I can't think of anything negative.
