Favorite juicer!
It came, it juiced, it conquered! We’ve crowned the Viasus Flow M our favorite juicer. Why? The Viasus impresses with very efficient juice yield, maximum self-feeding convenience, a small footprint in the kitchen, and an attractive price. The juices come out beautifully clear, the flavor is intense, and handling is easy. What more do you need to get into a daily juicing flow?
Perfect for 1–3 person households that want to use their juicer simply for juicing and don’t care about extra add-ons like a smoothie strainer or ice cream attachment.
Viasus Flow M product highlights:
- Focused on clear, particle-free juices: The Viasus Flow M is deliberately supplied with only a fine screen – no coarse screen, no ice or cream attachment. Most juice lovers press clear juices on a daily basis. If that’s what you’re looking for, the Flow M gives you premium quality without paying for extras that end up sitting in the cupboard.
- Comfortable self-feeding: The Viasus Flow M is a self-feeding juicer: add ingredients, switch on, done. The auger automatically pulls in the produce and processes it at a gentle 43 revolutions per minute. No tedious pushing, no constant refilling.
- All-rounder for all types of juice: The Viasus Flow M handles all kinds of fruits and vegetables with ease – from hard root vegetables to fibrous leafy greens, plus ginger and turmeric for shots. Thanks to its vertical design with a generously sized 1.6‑liter hopper, it’s particularly well suited to water-rich fruits and vegetables such as pineapple, oranges, floury apples, or tomatoes.
- Compact & powerful: At just 43.6 cm high and 5.5 kg in weight, the Viasus Flow M is one of the most space-saving vertical juicers. It fits under any kitchen cabinet and is easy to stow away. When it comes to juice yield, it sets the benchmark among self-feeding juicers.
- Sustainable quality at a fair price: The deliberately streamlined set of included accessories makes the Viasus Flow M one of the most attractive self-feeding juicers on the market – without compromising on build or juice quality.

About the Viasus brand
The name Viasus combines the Latin “via” (the way) with “sus” – derived from sustainability. Behind it stands the conviction of this German brand: good kitchen devices don’t need to be overloaded or overpriced. With this philosophy, Viasus appeals to customers who value authentic products – focused on the essentials, made from high-quality materials, and offered at a fair price. In short: sustainable quality.
For the development of its first juicer, Viasus entered into a cooperation with Hurom – the South Korean market leader in slow juicing, with over 50 years of experience in manufacturing juicers. The result is the Viasus Flow M by Hurom – a slow juicer that does exactly what it’s supposed to do first and foremost: produce clear, nutrient-rich juices. It’s made from materials known for durability such as BPA-free Tritan, a stainless steel strainer, and a robust Ultem auger. A device that combines tried-and-tested Korean juicer technology with European demands for focus and fairness.
What’s the juice quality like?
The Viasus Flow M won us over with juice quality that we rank on the level of the best slow juicers. The juices are consistently clear, virtually free of fibers, and have an intense, full-bodied flavor.
This is due to the interplay of gentle pressing technology and a high-quality fine strainer: the auger operates at just 43–50 revolutions per minute, slowly and gently pressing out the juice. The low speed minimizes heat build-up and oxidation, preserving the natural flavor and nutrients of the ingredients as much as possible. The fine stainless steel strainer reliably filters out fibers and pulp remnants. The result is a pure, clear juice – whether from vegetables, fruit, leafy greens, or herbs. This makes the Viasus Flow M a real all-rounder: at our place it’s practically running non-stop – for making green juices such as celery juice, wild herb juices or creations with kale and parsley, root juices like beetroot juice or carrot juice, fruit juices, ginger shots, or probiotic sauerkraut juice.
How good is the Viasus Flow M for making celery juice?
Of course, you can also use the Viasus Flow M to make the popular celery juice – either pure or as a mixed version with fruits and vegetables. We recommend cutting the celery stalks into pieces about 2 cm long so you can fill the hopper as much as possible. Then switch on the device – the self-feeding mechanism automatically pulls in the pieces, and after one to two minutes the finished juice flows into the glass. The result: the celery juice turns out nice and clear, free of fibers, and the typical celery flavor comes through intensely and unadulterated.
In terms of juice yield, the Viasus Flow M sets the standard: in our celery juice juicer test, we obtained an average of 380 ml of juice from 500 g of celery stalks – the best result among all self-feeding juicers we have tested so far. In the overall ranking of all juicers tested – including vertical juicers without self-feeding, horizontal juicers, and twin-gear devices such as the test winner Angel Juicer 5500 (430 ml) – the Viasus Flow M placed in the upper midfield. So if you’re looking for a convenient self-feeding juicer with very good celery juice yield, the Viasus Flow M is the ideal solution.
What else can you prepare with it?
In addition to making freshly pressed, clear juices, you can also use the Viasus Flow M to prepare fresh nut milk – for example, almond milk. Soak the nuts overnight or for 8–10 hours in water. Then pour off the soaking water and rinse the nuts thoroughly. Add them together with fresh water in a 1:3 ratio to the feeding chamber of the juicer – gradually, ideally with a ladle. The fine strainer cleanly separates the solids – what comes out is creamy, homemade nut milk without additives. For an even finer result, you can strain the nut milk again through a nut milk bag.
Operation & handling of the Viasus Flow M
The Viasus Flow M is easy and intuitive to operate using the central on/off switch on the back. Assembling the individual parts is quickly learned and becomes routine after a few times.
First, insert the auger, strainer, and wiper into the juicing chamber. Then twist the hopper clockwise onto the juicing chamber until it locks into place. Place the fully assembled juice housing onto the motor block – making sure that the juice and pulp outlets are correctly aligned. On the back of the motor block you’ll find a switch with three functions: start, stop, and reverse (REV). The reverse function comes into play if the juicing process stalls due to pieces that are too large or too many ingredients at once. Activate it by turning the main switch to the “REV” position and pressing it down. As soon as you release the switch, the reverse run stops.
Preparing and cutting ingredients
For preparation, we recommend cutting the ingredients into pieces of 2–3 cm and quartering larger fruits such as apples or oranges. This lets you make optimal use of the 1.6‑liter hopper volume. Add the ingredients, close the lid, switch on the device – the self-feeding function takes care of the rest and automatically transports the produce to the auger. After one to two minutes, your fresh juice is ready.
The opening in the lid allows you to add more ingredients while juicing. Note: when you open the lid, the device stops automatically – once you close it again, the juicing process continues on its own. A pusher is included but is practically never needed.
A practical detail is the juice outlet flap. If you close the flap during juicing, you can mix a juice from different ingredients directly in the device before pouring it out. At the same time, the juice flap serves as a pre-rinsing aid after juicing: simply add water, let the juicer run briefly, and then let the rinse water drain off.
The motor runs whisper-quiet – ideal for early-morning use without disturbing housemates or neighbors.
Cleaning the Viasus Flow M
We recommend cleaning the Viasus Flow M immediately after each use. This prevents juice residues from drying on and makes cleaning quick and easy.
Tip: Place a small screen in your sink drain before you start cleaning. This prevents pulp residues from going down the drain and clogging it.
Here’s how: first close the juice flap before removing the juice housing from the motor base – this prevents juice residues from dripping onto the work surface. Then place the housing in the sink. Detach the hopper from the juicing chamber and remove the individual components: auger, fine strainer, and wiper. Rinse all parts under running water. The included cleaning brush is your most important tool – it lets you quickly and thoroughly remove pulp residues from the strainer and wiper.
Finally, open the pulp outlet, remove the pulp, and rinse the outlet with water. Let all parts air-dry or wipe them with a kitchen towel. Then reassemble everything and place the juice housing back onto the motor base – ready for the next use.
The entire cleaning process usually takes no more than two to three minutes. The compact size of the individual parts makes handling easier – even in small sinks. Important: the juicer parts are not dishwasher-safe.
